RentheBoat

Rental terms and conditions

Template document — to be completed and validated with the operator's real information before going live.

Company name, legal form, registration number, head office address, contact: to be completed (see docs/IDENTITE.md).

Purpose

These rental terms govern the boat rentals offered on this site. To be completed with the operator's actual conditions.

Booking and confirmation

Any booking request immediately holds the selected slot. It is not a binding contract: the rental becomes final only after validation by the operator, notified to the customer by email. The operator may decline a request (unavailable slot, weather conditions, renter not meeting navigation requirements); the customer is then informed by email and no payment is due — any online payment already collected is fully refunded.

Rates and payment

Rates are displayed including tax, in the indicated currency, at booking time. The price shown on the confirmation page applies. Depending on the boat, payment is made on site on the day of the rental or online by card when submitting the request (secure payment via Stripe; if the request is declined, the payment is fully refunded). Security deposit, if any (amount, card imprint or cash): to be completed.

Cancellation and changes

Customer cancellation policy (deadlines, fees if any): to be completed. Cancellation by the operator (weather, breakdown, safety): the rental is rescheduled or cancelled free of charge — specify the terms.

Navigation conditions

Boating licence required depending on the vessel type (shown on each listing), minimum renter age, authorised navigation area, maximum persons on board: to be completed per boat. The renter agrees to comply with navigation rules and the safety briefing given at departure.

Liability and insurance

Operator's insurance coverage, deductible if any, renter's liability in case of damage: to be completed.

Personal data

Data collected during the booking process is processed according to the privacy policy available on this site.

Applicable law and disputes

Applicable law and competent jurisdiction: to be completed. In the event of a consumer dispute, the customer may use the competent consumer mediator free of charge: to be completed.
